As the only UK approved build agent for AK Sports-cars it is with pride that we can exclusively offer the AK 427 Cobra recreation in Turnkey Form. That's right, simply collect the keys and drive off in your new dream car!


Our skilled engineers, over the course of several workshop visits and discussions, will tailor build your Cobra to your own personal requirements using only brand new parts*.


From the paint colour to the stitching in the seats, your Cobra recreation will be as unique as you the owner.


All our fully built cars will be built and tested as category 'L' (Low Volume Type Approval)


The Standard specification will include: -


All of the following fitted to the latest Generation II AK 427 Chassis. 

Exterior

  • Paintwork in a colour of your choice

  • 17 inch Halibrand replica wheels with spinners

  • Choice of stainless steel side pipes or underfloor exhaust system

  • Stainless steel splitter wing

  • Stainless steel single driver roll bar

  • Stainless steel side vents

  • Cobra badge to front & rear

Interior

  • Andrew Muirhead leather interior in a colour of your choice

  • Jaguar quality carpets fitted to interior including boot

  • Three point Willans harnesses

  • Smiths Classic instruments

  • Mountney steering wheel

  • Wind wings

  • Boot lid gas rams

Mechanical/Engine Bay

  • Brand new Chevrolet 6.2 litre LS3 fuel injected engine

  • Brand new Tremec TKO 500 Transmission

  • Omex 710 series ECU package

  • Reconditioned/serviced axles front and rear

  • Stainless steel engine bay cladding

  • Stainless steel header tank

  • Stainless steel washer bottle

  • Bonnet gas rams

On top of building the AK 427 in turnkey form Absolute Horsepower also offer other cobra related services including all makes of Cobra servicing, repairs, MOT's and part build, or kit completions.


We are also accredited for insurance valuations and offer a car valuation service if you are looking to purchase a pre-owned Cobra.
