TOT ROD COBRA RECREATION'S
Over the past few months Absolute Horsepower have been busy fabricating the latest Cobra . With the first scale AC COBRA TOT ROD replica now complete attention can turn to marketing these working models to youngsters and cobra enthusiasts alike.
Painstakingly assembled with as much attention to detail as we do with our full build cars these baby cobra's are truly incredible. Powered by the cjoice of a 49cc 2 stroke engine which belt drives a custom built axle or a battery operated version both models are built on our own unique chassis design.
With full jigs for the chassis and a complete workshop facility these cars can be reproduced to exacting tolerances of the first car.
The first car chassis 001 has already featured at the national Stoneleigh kit car show 2013 and other events. Admired by many the first commissioned builds have now started.
At present these cars will only be available in complete form but as interest increases to supply in full component form is on the cards. This will allow parents to enjoy building their full size Cobra replica while the mechanically minded little ones can actively help assemble there own replica with mum and dads supervision of course.
Each TOT ROD takes us approximately 150 hours to fabricate and assemble. With the exception of the body, engine, tyres & fuel tank every part is fabricated in house on our own tooling.
The TOT RODS feature fully working headlights, rear lights, indicators and disc brakes. Other features include an engine kill switch & a remote engine kill switch is an option. The battery powered version also has the advantage of reverse and operates nearly silently.
We are happy to supply these without engine or drive gear if you wish to have a push kart or simply want a unique piece of Cobra merchandise to sit in your garage. A radio controlled version is also under development.
Choose your own colour, stripes, interior colour, roll bar & exhaust configuration and what you would like on the number plate and we will build your ultimate miniature classic.
